Equipment loan

The Communications Technology Program provides students with access to a variety of media equipment packages to support their coursework. Equipment is managed by Media Services on the 1st Floor, Room 1G02 (enter from the F corridor).

To make a reservation, reserve online, email [email protected] or call 718.262.1600.

Students can generally reserve equipment up to two weeks in advance, with a standard 48-hour lending period. Weekend reservations (Friday to Monday) are extended to 72 hours.

Students must complete the basic skills tests for using cameras, lights, and sound equipment with the York College Media Labs, 4M03. After completion, students sign the Media Services contract to allow for reservations and equipment checkout.
